Kickstarting Your Creative Enterprise

Join us for this interactive, information-packed full day workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs in arts and culture.

This one day session is for those who want to turn their artistic strengths into a full or part-time business.

The morning will be spent on learning what you need to do to formalize and align your thinking as a prospective entrepreneur: crystalizing your vision, understanding the construct of a creative business and the importance of a formal plan, and how to transform your artistic strengths into a revenue generating enterprise.

Regardless of the scale of your vision, we touch on the key areas you need to address in order to get started: how to transition from creative professional into creative entrepreneur, internal workings of a business, business planning, branding and marketing.

In the afternoon you will engage in a hands-on activity, where you will become an entrepreneur, and in a small group, turn an artistic idea into a creative business opportunity.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided (vegetarian options will be available)

Workshop participants will be entered into a draw to win $100.00!
(Please note, participants must attend the full day to be eligible for the draw).
