Invitation: Artists are invited to provide concepts for the design and creation of a three-dimensional award that will be given to recipients at the annual Thunder Bay Arts & Heritage Awards. The successful artist will produce awards in the selected design for 2 years of ceremonies (12 awards in Year 1, and up to 12 awards in Year 2).

Eligibility: This competition is open to local or regional artists, who live/work/attend school in the Northwestern Ontario region, as defined by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.

Budget: Maximum of $4,000 for design and creation of 12 awards in Year 1. Additional compensation per award in Year 2.

The Thunder Bay Arts & Heritage Awards celebrate the cultural sector in Thunder Bay through the recognition of local artists and cultural professionals who have achieved excellence in their fields, and supporters of culture in Thunder Bay who play a significant role in making these achievements possible.
