Invitation: Artists are invited to submit up to three concepts for snow sculptures to be created for SnowDay 2017, which takes place on Family Day (Monday, February 20, 2017).

Eligibility: This competition is open to artists, artist teams and organizations led by a professional artist/team. Maximum 5 people per team for Large sculptures and a maximum of 4 people per team for Medium sculptures.

Honorarium: $500/Large Sculpture, $400/Medium Sculpture, $1000 SnowDay Award selected by jury

SnowDay is an annual event and snow sculptures are selected by open competition. Both new and experienced carving teams are welcome. Snow blocks are available in Large (8'H x 8'D x 12'W) and Medium blocks (8' x 8' x 8'). Small blocks are available to community groups wishing to participate in carving a 3' x 3' x 3' block.
